Singer-songwriter George Ezra left Nottingham in amazement on 1st October 2022 after playing to a sold-out Motorpoint Arnea.
The Brit Award-winning Solo male artist of 2019, George Ezra, played 19 songs from his, Gold Rush Kid Tour promoting his most recent album, Gold Rush Kid.
Supporting the pop artist was the trio Beatenberg. A South African indie-pop trio that warmed up the crowd for the first hour of the show. Beatenberg delivered a catchy and unique performance compared to George Ezra which entertained the crowd. The trio built up the atmosphere and gained themselves new fans ready for George Ezra’s performance.

After two blockbuster albums – Wanted On Voyage and Staying At Tamara’s – George also debuts his new single ‘Green Green Grass’ taken from his forthcoming new album Gold Rush Kid. Gold Rush Kid is the third studio album, released on 10 June 2022 by Columbia Records. The album was promoted by four singles: “Anyone for You”, “Green Green Grass”, “I Went Hunting”, and “Dance All Over Me”. Gold Rush Kid became his third consecutive number-one album in the UK.
From the 19 songs played in Nottingham, many were sung along with the crowd, featuring Blame it on me, Get Away, and Cassy O’. Introducing himself to the crowd with Anyone for You (Tiger Lily) kickstarted the night and provided a taste of what to expect throughout the night. Followed by Cassy O’ and through to those featured on George Ezra’s album Gold Rush Kid. Played on the night in Nottingham was aslo Budapest, Barcelona and Green Green Grass which provided a nice touch to the performance.
Ezra’s album, Gold Rush Kid projected passionately throughout the venue.The crowd filled with excitement, adding to the atmosphere. George Ezra also engaged with the audience and his fans by talking and engaging with his fans.
